Lead Warehouse Associate

Come join our team as a Lead Warehouse Associate!

The Lead Warehouse Associate will assist the Warehouse Supervisor by leading an assigned team through the daily activities in the warehouse to ensure smooth operations and efficient completion of projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Oversees the daily workflow to include scheduling and assignments of their assigned team.

* Ensures that the necessary equipment is available and in working order to complete assignments.

* Leads team in conducting daily safety checks on equipment, including forklift trucks.

* Inspects quality and quantity of supplies and equipment delivered to the team.

* Keeps team members informed about rules, regulations, policies, and objectives.

* Collaborates with the team to identify ways to improve department effectiveness; implements viable ideas.

* Resolves conflicts that arise among team members and/or other employees.

* Orders new equipment as requested by management.

* Serves as a backup delivery driver.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Clear, effective communications skills - both written and verbal

* Ability to collaborate and incorporate multiple perspectives into work product

* Aptitude for prioritizing and problem-solving

* Preference for accuracy, attention to detail, and organization

* Competency of entire Microsoft Suite plus Internet and email

* A high school diploma or GED is required, Associate or Bachelor degree preferred

* Valid Driver's License required.

* Forklift Certification

* Become a trusted keyholder capable of opening and closing the warehouse
