The Supply Chain Specialist supports procurement, material coordination, inventory management, vendor communication, and purchase order tracking. This role ensures materials are ordered, tracked, and available when needed.
Responsibilities of Supply Chain SpecialistManage procurement and material coordination activities.
The Supply Chain Specialist will monitor inventory and material availability.
Communicate and coordinate with vendors.
Enter purchase orders and track orders through delivery.
Maintain accurate supply chain records and documentation.
Use Microsoft Office, especially Excel, to track and manage information.
Follow up on orders and resolve supply or delivery issues as needed.
The Supply Chain Specialist must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
The Supply Chain Specialist must have strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
Effective communication and follow-up skills.
Associate's or bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Procurement, Operations, or a related field.
Experience in procurement, purchasing, inventory, materials, or supply chain.
The Supply Chain Specialist should be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with vendors, purchase orders, inventory, and supply chain systems. This Supply Chain Specialist role offers an opportunity to develop broad experience in supply chain operations.
