Installation Project Manager – Automation & Industrial Equipment

10-12 Month Contract Position

We’re seeking an experienced Installation Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of automation equipment and infrastructure installations. This role drives projects from concept to completion—ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence—while serving as the go-to onsite contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams.



Key Responsibilities

• Lead Installations:
  Plan, schedule, and oversee automation and industrial equipment installation within construction projects.
• Coordinate Teams:
  Align engineering, procurement, and construction efforts to meet design and quality standards.
• Ensure Compliance:
  Enforce safety, building code, and project specifications; manage inspections, testing, and punch lists.
• Drive Safety Culture:
  Conduct toolbox talks, audits, and risk assessments; model safe practices at all times.
• Manage Stakeholders:
  Act as primary onsite liaison, providing updates and escalating issues as needed.
• Guide Teams:
  Supervise multidisciplinary crews, ensuring seamless integration across mechanical, electrical, controls, and IT.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years in automation, industrial machinery, or construction installation management.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and controls integration.
• Proven record delivering complex projects on time, on budget, and to spec.
• Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
