Tooling Maintenance Technician

Deceuninck North America is seeking a Tooling Maintenance Technician for its Monroe, OH facility. In this role, the Technician is responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and checking the quality of all extrusion tool sets. The technician will assist production with extrusion tooling issues and collaborate with Process Technicians and the Tool Room.

Schedule: Days 7:45 am - 8:00 pm (2-2-3 schedule), Nights 7:45 pm - 8:00 am (2-2-3 schedule)

• Maintain Deceuninck extrusion tools.
• Notify leads when rail, guides, or die inventories need replenishing or refurbishing.
• Handle extrud-a-honing dies and ultrasonic testing of dies and sizers.
• Report equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain a clean and organized Tooling Maintenance area.
• Assist Tool Storage Attendant/Coordinator as needed.

• Mechanical skills.
• Understanding of extrusion tools and processes is a plus.
• Ability to read dial calipers and micrometers.

• Mobile equipment certification recommended.
