Deceuninck is looking for a Night Shift Supervisor in our Lamination Department for our Monroe, Ohio facility. The Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and leading the activities of our Lamination Department.
10 Hour Shift
Nights - Sunday - Wednesday
Core Responsibilities- Responsible for leading, managing and supporting employees to meet or exceed the company standards established for their roles and responsibilities respective of their position.
- Seek continuous professional growth through outside agencies to provide additional skills necessary to fulfill the expectations of a production supervisor.
- Interpret company policies for employees.
- Enforce adherence to safety regulations.
- Effectively participate in the processes of employee selection, hiring and retention.
- Manage employee resources and plant production to achieve and meet production standards by:
- communicating with production scheduler
- auditing profiles to verify conformance to specifications
- analyzing production schedules and estimate labor hour requirements for job completion
- interpret job orders for employees
- assigns duties to extrusion employees
- Maintain time and production records.
- Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
- Support, mentor and communicate to all employees to help them understand and adjust to their roles and responsibilities.
- Manage and support effective employee training and orientation programs to support employee growth, knowledge and development.
- Leads by example.
- Two to four years of frontline manufacturing supervision experience (preferred).
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma principles. Green/Black Belt preferred.
- Experience working with computer systems to enter and track data.
- Proven ability to mentor and manage employees.
- High School diploma or (GED) required.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in technical field preferred.
