Quality Auditor – Deceuninck North America
Location:
Monroe, OH. Join our team to ensure the highest product quality through rigorous inspections and continuous improvement.
Base: $20.00/hour (Day shift). Potential for growth based on experience and performance.
Core Responsibilities- Performs profile measurements using optical comparator, calipers, Promex Scanner, and gages.
- Complies and evaluates statistical data to maintain quality and reliability of products.
- Follows procedures for test methods and test equipment.
- Reads and understands blueprints (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to determine design intent.
- Inspects products and equipment to assure conformance to specifications during design, process, and calibration phases.
- Communicates with managers, production supervisors, leads, and operators to assure product quality.
- Performs first article inspections including color checks, impact, heat/shrink tests, visual inspections, and gage measurements.
- Conducts Gage R & R studies to ensure adequacy of test methods and equipment.
- Reads control charts, histograms, and other graphs to analyze data and communicate results.
- Evaluates software and equipment capabilities for intended purpose.
- Performs measurement system analysis (MSA) studies.
- Checks engineering prints for quality and recommends changes.
- Administers calibration program for all assigned measurement equipment.
- Administers quality control program on incoming and outgoing goods; communicates inspection results to suppliers and customers.
- Works nights 7:45 pm–8 am (2‑2‑3 schedule) and crew 4.
- Must be able to use calipers, optical comparator, and tape measure.
- Basic computer skills including Outlook and Excel (basic data entry into spreadsheets).
- Able to read blueprints and basic knowledge of GC&T.
- One to two years related experience and/or training in a quality-related field.
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
