Sales Associate – GUESS, Inc.

The Sales Associate is responsible for sales generation and delivering a positive customer experience. The Sales Associate will also handle a variety of operational duties as assigned by the store management team (e.g., housekeeping duties, visual presentation standards, etc.).

• Greeting customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile and sincere non-business-like greeting.
• Creating a positive first impression through an energetic attitude and adherence to dress code.
• Maintaining a sparkling clean and organized environment by adhering to store standards and cleanliness.
• Providing customers with current relevant product information.
• Providing quality fitting room service, following up with customers in a timely manner, maintaining cash wrap cleanliness, and attempting to add on to the sale.
• Ensuring efficient cash wrap service, offering gift cards, maintaining cash wrap cleanliness, and capturing customer information in the database.
• Sincerely thanking all customers for shopping at GUESS as they exit the store.

• Completing all duties as assigned by management.
• Being punctual and adhering to the designated work schedule.
• Working well with peers and management to accomplish duties.
• Following GUESS policies and procedures 100%.
• Performing housekeeping duties as required.

• Meeting or exceeding the sales per hour (SPH) results as assigned by management.

• Participating in and attending all store meetings and related functions.
• Representing a positive attitude toward the merchandise and the company.
• Participating in all inventories.
• Assuming and completing other duties as assigned by store management.
• Performing physical tasks such as heavy lifting over 30 pounds and standing for a minimum of eight hours during scheduled shifts.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical stamina to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and balance frequently.
