Position: Data Architect / Data Engineers
Data Architect / Data Engineer (Contract) - Cincinnati, OH Overview Vaco is seeking senior Data Architects and Data Engineers to lead the design and implementation of a modern cloud-based data platform, with exposure to Microsoft Fabric. This role is highly consultative and hands-on, focused on enterprise data architecture, pipeline development, analytics enablement, and knowledge transfer. The engagement is fully remote and contract-based.

Key Responsibilities Lead Data Architecture and Data Engineering Design end-to-end enterprise data architectures, including lakehouse, warehouse, streaming, and AI/ML integration patterns Define reference architectures, metadata management strategies, and governance frameworks Produce high-level and logical architecture diagrams aligned to agreed-upon use cases Advisory licensure and certification requirements; office location and other geographic considerations; other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure.

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
