Each position employed with CYO Camps helps to extend the ministry of the Archbishop in particular ways as outlined in the position description.

To assist in implementing the camp's challenge curriculum.

• At the beginning of the season and each challenge session, inspect all equipment for usability.
• Successfully complete our site‑specific ACCT challenge training.
• Follow and enforce established safety criteria at the course.
• Manage the 3 challenge course specialists.
• Follow all policies and procedures for the course outlined in the course handbook.
• Ensure that courses and programs are in line with the Standards outlined by the American Camping Association.
• Practice emergency procedures weekly, including take‑down procedures.
• Train additional staff as needed.

• Safety of campers and staff.
• Low/High ropes experience; working with ropes.
• Commitment to the mission and values of CYO.
• Ability to work under pressure in time‑constrained situations.
• Must be able to lift/move course elements.
• Willingness to pitch in with other general camp duties when needed.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
