Job Title: Oncologist
Location: Monroe, Wisconsin
Schedule: 6:45AM - 4:45PM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate
: $423 - $455/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Oncologist for a temporary assignment in Monroe, Wisconsin. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Oncologist:- Provide Medical Oncology and Hematology coverage in an outpatient clinic and infusion center setting
- Conduct inpatient oncology consultations limited to the Monroe location
- Manage call responsibilities limited to the Monroe location
- Oversee infusion services including monitoring and management of treatment plans using Epic with Beacon treatment and therapy plans
- Manage treatment-related adverse reactions and side effects
- Perform general medical oncology and hematology procedures and services
- Work Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; additional Friday clinic availability may be accommodated if preferred
- Collaborate with on-site support staff including APP, infusion RNs, Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist, and Scheduler
- Provide care to adult patients ages 18 and older
- Maintain board certification in Medical Oncology and Hematology
- Hold a valid Wisconsin state license (IMLC/Compact licensure accepted)
- Demonstrate a minimum of 1 to 2 years of Medical Oncology and Hematology experience
- Comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Return all issued equipment at the conclusion of the assignment
