Controller

Join Quest Industrial’s accounting team as Controller. Lead financial reporting, budgeting, job costing, and month‑end close. Partner with General Manager and VP of Finance.

• Direct accounting policies, budget, job costing, and internal controls.
• Analyze and interpret financial information to evaluate profitability and performance.
• Prepare and coordinate budgets and financial forecasts.
• Ensure revenue recognition compliance with ASC 606.
• Own month‑end close: cutoff, reconciliations, journal entries, inventory analysis, financial reports.
• Maintain fixed asset records and manage capital expenditures.
• Perform job costing analysis and project projections.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and complete required reports.
• Lead ERP and system maintenance.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, sales, parts, purchasing, engineering.
• Coach and develop accounting team performance.
• Control disbursements, credit terms, and collections with Shared Services.
• Develop department goals, budget and staffing requirements, control expenses.

• B.S. in Accounting or Finance.
• 8–10 years in finance and accounting; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong financial analysis background.
• Proven ability to mentor and coach a team.
• Experience with ERP (Syteline preferred).
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; presentation skills.
• Analytical skills; data synthesis and workflow design.
• Hands‑on team player driven to meet company goals; initiative and continuous improvement.
