Patient Access Representative (40 hours)

Responsible for communicating with patients, participants, and staff to accurately schedule patients for prescribed procedures and gather the necessary demographic, insurance, and clinical information for the procedure.

• Rotating weekly hours: 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• 40 weekly hours

• Gather patient information and enter into appropriate database.
• Schedule patient procedures efficiently and coordinate schedules.
• Assist with insurance pre-certification & authorization.
• Provide counseling on pre-service requirements.
• Perform clerical and reception duties associated with patient registration.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience.
• No experience required.

• Frequent lifting/carrying & pushing/pulling 0-25 lbs.
• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching.
• Frequent use of vision & depth perception.
• Frequent use of hearing & speech.
• Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
• Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting.
• Occasional lifting/carrying & pushing/pulling 25-50 lbs.
• Rare climbing.
