JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Job Duties:

• Preparing supplies and labels
• Completing required paperwork accurately
• Taking cheese from totes and placing onto conveyors
• Operating packaging equipment to fill bags or containers with crumbled product
• Verifying product codes and materials for accuracy
• Checking containers for proper seals
• Attaching labels to products
• Putting products onto pallets
• Stacking pallets
• Cleaning and sanitizing equipment, conveyors and packaging areas
• Examining and inspecting containers, materials, or products to ensure that product quality and packing specifications are met
• Measuring, weighing, and counting products and materials
• Loading materials and products into package processing equipment
• Placing or pouring products or materials into containers, using hand tools and equipment, or filling containers from spouts or chutes
• Removing completed or defective products or materials, placing them on moving equipment, such as conveyors, or in specified areas, such as loading docks
• Cleaning containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools
• Marking and labeling containers, container tags, or products, using marking tools
• Obtaining, moving, and sorting products, materials, containers, and orders, using hand tools
• Assembling, lining, and padding cartons, crates, and containers, using hand tools
• Sealing containers or materials, using glues, fasteners, nails
• Recording product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records

Shift: 1st shift: 6:00am-3:00pm or done (typically 8-9 hour shift), Monday Friday, plus every other Saturday 5:00am-done.

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour, will pay more for experienced workers!

• Cheese/food industry experience is preferred but not required
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed
• A good attendance record is required
• Candidate must be a team player
• Employees are required to stand the duration of the shift, with frequent and repetitive bending, stooping, turning, reaching, grasping and lifting up to 50 pounds
