CBC/Radio-Canada is hiring a Video journalist for their Mont-Tremblant news team. Engage the community by telling impactful stories across various media platforms.
This full-time, on-site position requires strong storytelling, reporting, and digital content skills. You will handle field production work independently, producing engaging stories that resonate with local audiences. Ideal candidates are creative, resourceful, and have experience working under pressure in journalism.
Key Responsibilities:
• Pitch and produce original news content
• Manage field production, including video and sound
• Collaborate with the Montreal newsroom for news coverage
• Deliver stories across digital, radio, and television
• Build and maintain community contacts
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Minimum three years journalism experience
• Fluency in French;
English knowledge is a bonus
• Strong understanding of multimedia best practices
• Valid driver's license for necessary travel
