$19.00/hr - $21.00/hr

• Provide direct care to children in a safe and enriching environment under the guidance of the Lead Teacher.
• Model and teach developmentally appropriate behavior and interactions between children and adults.
• Follow day-to-day classroom schedules, routines, and activities.
• Support Lead Teachers in day-to-day activities and tasks.
• Help children reach developmental milestones through the Waldorf style of education.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and tidy space; perform additional cleaning duties as needed.
• Communicate with families with daily updates as necessary.
• Prepare and serve meals to children (including baby foods and bottles).
• Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all children.

• Understand early childhood development and behaviors.
• Maintain a safe environment for multiple children at one time.
• Demonstrate appropriate tone and interactions with children.
• Adapt flexibly within daily routines.
• Engage in co-learning with children; curricular ideas emerge from children’s experiences.

• Perform duties in a timely and efficient manner per Club policies and standards.
• Meet productivity, organization, punctuality/attendance, and consistency standards.
• Maintain a positive, respectful attitude; protect member and family privacy.
• Present a neat appearance and communicate effectively with staff and families.
• Perform work safely and with high quality; project a positive image of Yellowstone Club.
• Other duties as assigned; may require flexible hours including evenings and holidays.

• Experience in early childhood settings preferred (1 year preferred).
• ECE or related field preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Current on the MTECP Registry.
• Meet Montana immunization and background check requirements; sign a health attestation; be at least 16 years old; complete facility overview on-the-job training; be current on ECP Practitioner Registry.
• Basic computer skills; ability to use Microsoft Office and Teams; navigate communication apps on a device.
• Ability to speak clearly and professionally with parents, children, and co-workers; good writing skills.
• Basic math ability and problem-solving; know when to involve a manager.
• Willingness to work in a climate-controlled environment and outdoors as needed.
