Description

As a Locum MD in Ophthalmology, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting eye examinations, diagnosing and treating a variety of eye conditions, and performing surgical procedures when necessary. Your expertise will contribute to the health and well-being of the community while working closely with other healthcare professionals in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and assessments
- Diagnose and treat ocular diseases and disorders
- Perform surgical procedures as required
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Educate patients on eye health and preventive care
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in ophthalmology
- Participate in continuing education and professional development
- MD degree with specialization in Ophthalmology
- Valid medical license to practice in the state
- 3-5 years of experience in ophthalmology
- Strong clinical and surgical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is preferred
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p
Patient Volume: 12 per shift
Duties:
Eye exams, refractions, prescribing corrective lenses, diagnosing and managing ocular diseases, disorders, and injuries, etc.
EMR: RPMS
Any active, unrestricted U.S. license accepted
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
