POSITION: Physician, Primary Care Provider, Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT), VM-0602. One full time permanent position located in Ambulatory Care, Fort Harrison, MT at the VA Montana Health Care System. Hours of work:
Monday through Friday with a few weekend rotations throughout the year.
Seeking full-time board certified (preferred) Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician for Ambulatory Care. The incumbent will deliver services to veterans presenting for health care. Duties will include day-to-day care of veteran patients presenting with ambulatory/primary care appointments. This position may include participation in the provision of telemedicine care to outlying communities as well as occasional travel to other VA clinics within
Montana to provide clinical coverage.
Key Requirements

Required Skills
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Citizenship. Citizen of the United States. (Noncitizens may be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with chapter 3, section A, paragraph 3g, this part.)
- Education. Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine. The degree must have been obtained from one of the schools approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs for the year in which the course of study was completed. Approved schools are:
- Schools of medicine holding regular institutional membership in the Association of American Medical Colleges for the year in which the degree was granted.
- Schools of osteopathic medicine approved by the American Osteopathic Association for the year in which the degree was granted.
- Schools (including foreign schools) accepted by the licensing body of a State, Territory, or Commonwealth (i.e., Puerto Rico), or in the District of Columbia as qualifying for full or unrestricted licensure.
- For residents, graduation from an approved medical school as described above is required except as provided in M-8, part II, chapter 1.
- Licensure and Registration. Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia. The physician must maintain current registration in the State of licensure if this is a…
