Senior Pastor – Absarokee Evangelical Church

Absarokee Evangelical Church (AEC) (https://(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).) is seeking a full‑time Senior Pastor to shepherd our congregation and work alongside the Oversaw Board and Conference Superintendent.

The Pastor will:

• Provide pastoral leadership to the congregation and lay members.
• Guide church staff and leadership teams in alignment with the mission.
• Ensure systems, practices, and policies support ministry activities.
• Represent the church within the community and work with all age groups.

Ideally focuses on family, loves the Lord first, kind, loving, supportive, gentle, understanding, positive, friendly, teacher, knowledgeable in the Bible.

Reports to the AEC Overseer Board and the Conference Superintendent.

• Gifted teacher and shepherd.
• Experience encouraging others.
• Ability to address current issues from a biblical perspective with life application.
• Ability to delegate and involve lay people.
• Minimum 3 years active ministry within a church or para‑church organization.

• Seminary graduate or willing to pursue seminary training (PESM).
• Basic computer skills.

Financial package of $70,000 per year with flexibility in salary, retirement, and medical insurance. A parsonage located on a manufactured home next to the church will be provided; the pastor covers utilities.
