Senior Mechanical Engineer

Salary: $90,000 – $125,000 per year.

- Take responsibility for assigned projects from inception to completion.
- Generate project requirements to resolve product/process problems and support the development of new products/processes.
- Initiate technical investigations, prepare design specifications and analyses, and make recommendations for presentation to management for approval.
- Perform mechanical design for prototype, pre‑commercial, and new commercial products in a product development environment.
- Provide quality products to demanding industrial manufacturing businesses.
- Lead technical design for manufacturing with a strong focus on design for manufacture.
- Lead as a team leader and/or individual contributor for assigned projects.
- Design and prototype pre‑commercial and new complex commercial products.
- Develop and complete product designs as an effective team member or independently as assigned by management.
- Possess strong CAD and CAE design and analysis skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering (ABET accredited preferred).
- Ten years of experience in mechanical design.
- Strong proficiency in Solid Works.
- Finite Element Analysis expertise (ANSYS preferred).
