Travel ER Charge Nurse; RN | Montana;

We’re seeking an experienced Emergency Room Charge Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Montana
. This role is in a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) setting, caring for swing/intermediate patients as well as ER cases.

Modality: ER RN – Charge

Start Date: October 20

Shift: Nights, 3x12s – 6 on / 8 off rotation

OT Rate/Multiplier: 1.5x regular rate

Current RN license (MT or compact)

BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (AHA) required

Charge Nurse experience required

Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience preferred

Experience in Critical Access Hospital (CAH) environment a plus

Serve as Charge Nurse overseeing ER staff during night shifts

Triage, assess, and provide direct care to ER and swing/intermediate patients

Respond to critical emergencies and stabilize patients for transfer if needed

Ensure accurate documentation and communication with providers and leadership

Support team members and maintain safe, efficient unit operations

13-week contract in rural Montana

Unique 6 on / 8 off schedule for extended breaks

Competitive travel pay with OT at 1.5x rate
