Job Description

Position Summary:

The Dual-modality Radiology Technologist delivers high quality CT and X-Ray exams to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Independently performs CT and X-Ray procedures, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner. This role supports outpatient and inpatient settings with a variable schedule.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited Radiology program or equivalent, and documented competencies in Radiology and CT Montana Licensure (Radiologic Technologist) American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) advanced certification in CT American Heart Association BLS within 60 days of hire Two (2) years of previous radiology experience Preferred Associate or Bachelor degree in health care related studies

Essential Job Functions:

In addition to the essential functions of the job listed below, employees must have on-time completion of all required education as assigned per DNV requirements, Bozeman Health policy, and other registry requirements. Performs quality CT and X-Ray/fluoroscopic exams and procedures as requested by medical staff. Operates with limited supervision, while maintaining high attention to detail, customer needs, and high reliability. Assists medical staff in other departments during exams and procedures as necessary and appropriate.

Performs ancillary duties as required to maintain proper distribution, billing, and archival of exams and procedures. Completes documentation, in designated area, of all information required for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams. Retrieves written orders and related health information to ensure the timely performance and reporting of exams and procedures. Knowledge,
