The cook will prepare, season and cook food. Must follow modified diet needs and recipe compliance standards.
Demonstrates the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations. Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, handle stressful situations, and manage conflict. Will perform all job duties or tasks as assigned. Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Must comply with all Benefis Health System policies and procedures.
ResponsibilitiesPerform cooking tasks according to recipes and diet specifications. Maintain quality, safety, and sanitation standards. Coordinate with dietary and clinical staff to meet patient dietary needs. Manage workload to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
Education/License/Experience Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training preferred.
- Serv Safe certification mandatory within three (3) months
- Valid Montana driver’s license preferred.
