Job Summary

Agent, Connectivity must manage pre-arrival, in house and post stay stages of guest stay. To ensure that all guests’ expectations are met, and exceeded, throughout their stay at the resort. To be familiar with all resort standards, policies and procedures to ensure department is run effectively and efficiently. To be familiar with all the resort facilities, restaurants, local attractions and other points of interest, to be able to promote and answer all enquiries concerning services and highly diversified queries from guests.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

  • Cooperate with other hotel departments to make sure the work is planned and organized efficiently
  • Provide information to co-workers by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person
  • To have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all rooms related services and the product and the ability to upsell alternatives
  • Follow LQA Standards related to responsibilities
  • Provide immediate assistance to guests as requested
  • Responsible for all in house guest requests and ensuring their needs are met
  • Making sure all guests’ complaints are followed up and discussed during the daily meeting within the team
  • Maintain a high level of product & service knowledge to explain and sell services and facilities to our clients and potential guests
  • Communicate both positive and negative feedback from guests to appropriate departments
  • Run day-to-day operations of the Connectivity Center, ensuring the quality, standards and meeting the expectations of the customers daily
  • Be fully familiar with the room types, applicable rates, discount and rates structures and rate policies
  • Responsible for pre-arrival communication with guests
  • Responsible for the coordination, organization and delivery of a warm welcome and fond farewell for the individual guests
  • Communicate guest arrivals, preferences and needs to all appropriate departments daily
  • Prepare daily for upcoming guest arrivals & departures
  • Check that all e-mails received are replied to within 12 Hours and filed correctly
  • Utilize guest profiles, correspondence and previous histories to ensure requirements are met prior to guest arrival
  • Promote activities and facilities of the resort with the intention to convert bookings
  • Daily check of guest’s profile in Opera, merge of profiles if necessary
  • Review VIP codes and flag VIP arrivals
  • Assist with any other duties as assigned


Education & Experience Requirements

  • Must be computer literate, knowledge of MS Office, Excel and Opera is essential
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and be able to multi-task
  • Must have experience as a Receptionist or Guest Relations Officer in a five-star environment for a minimum of 2 years
  • Communicate effectively via email and telephone
  • Have extensive knowledge of the resort and surrounding areas
