Yellowstone Club is a private residential community in Big Sky, Montana, offering the world’s only private ski and golf community. Job OverviewThe Lodge keeper is responsible for maintaining overall cleanliness of all assigned public/common areas in accordance with Yellowstone Club Cleaning Standards. Position starts at $19/hour.
Responsibilities- Ensure each member and guest receives outstanding service, greeting and acknowledging them consistently.
- Display hospitality and professionalism at all times, representing Yellowstone Club with pride.
- Understand and apply all safety and security procedures, seeking medical help and reporting incidents immediately.
- Maintain a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster a positive environment.
- Clean all assigned public/common areas of the Club in strict accordance with standards.
- Assist with member laundry as needed.
- Perform sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, dusting, polishing, vacuuming, sanitizing, and shampooing.
- Travel from building to building in all weather conditions, including on‑mountain resupply via ski lift or gondola.
- Conduct deep cleans of all public/common areas as assigned.
- Ensure all membership areas are maintained and inspected per standards.
- Collaborate with lodgekeeping teams to achieve high efficiency and quality.
- Follow assigned checklists and meet deadlines.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, keeping a consistent inventory.
- Report maintenance issues to supervisors immediately.
- Comply with all club policies, procedures, and OSHA standards for chemical handling.
- Communicate with members and guests, addressing their needs promptly.
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy of members and club facilities.
- Perform all duties efficiently and in accordance with established club standards.
- Meet departmental productivity, organization, punctuality/attendance, and consistency standards.
- Maintain a positive, respectful, and professional attitude at all times.
- Ensure privacy and cleanliness of appearance.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with all employees and supervisors.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Nothing restricts management’s right to reassign duties, hours, or responsibilities.
- High school diploma, GED, or vocational training.
- At least 3 months of experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or commercial laundry; hospitality experience desired.
- None required.
- Basic knowledge of technology.
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication with members, guests, and staff.
- Perform basic math calculations.
- Solve basic problems or recognize when manager assistance is needed.
Work is usually conducted in a climate‑controlled environment but may require outdoor work in extreme weather conditions.
Physical DemandsFrequent talking/hearing, lifting up to 25 lbs, using hands and fingers extensively, standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching, and reaching. Visual acuity for task accuracy is required.
