On-Call IT Field Technician roles are available in multiple U.S. cities (onsite support). This is an independent contractor (1099) opportunity with flexible scheduling and no guaranteed hours.

• Diagnose and repair hardware/software issues on Windows and macOS systems
• Resolve boot errors, OS issues, and login problems
• Set up or troubleshoot Wi-Fi and wired internet connections
• Replace or upgrade hardware (e.g., HDD, RAM, cooling fans)
• Configure or connect printers and scanners (Canon, HP, Brother, etc.)
• Address common printer error codes and perform maintenance on multifunction printers
• Reinstall operating systems using bootable USBs or recovery media
• Install remote tools or shortcuts as requested
• Communicate clearly with customers and provide basic post-service support
• Document service visits and escalate complex issues as needed

You'll be dispatched to customer sites, work independently, and complete service calls efficiently and professionally. This role includes coverage for PCs, Macs, printers, and scanners in residential and small business settings.

• 2+ years of field IT support experience (computer and printer work)
• Familiarity with Canon, HP, and other common printer brands
• Knowledge of error code troubleshooting (e.g., Canon 1700, boot issues, driver conflicts)
• Experience with Windows (10/11) and macOS troubleshooting
• Must have personal tools (bootable USB, screwdriver set, etc.)
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
• Smartphone with camera and data for documentation and communication
• Ability to work independently and maintain a professional demeanor

• $40-$45 per hour for on-site time
• Mileage reimbursement for travel over 20 miles one-way
