Welcome to Petra Stone Company located in Hot Springs, MT! We here at Petra are the pioneers in the thin veneer stone industry with cutting edge technology paired with our experienced and friendly staff paving the way in this fast-paced industry. As we are growing we need more people to fill these positions.
We take various types of real Montana stone and precisely cut it to our company and customers standards that exceed the industry. To do this we have multiple veneers saw that are worked by 1-to-2-man teams. Each person’s position directly supports the other.
Responsibilities- Properly identify each stone line and process it to the maximum yield.
- Label and package each unit of stone according to our process.
- Operate saws at a professional level with consistent results.
- Perform maintenance as required to each saw s specifications.
- Repetitious movement lifting 5-100 lbs on average.
- Work well in a team environment.
- Understand and complete projects that are under a time-sensitive deadline.
- Keep a clean and responsible working station.
- Understand and operate basic tools.
Compensation
:
Between $40k to $70k annually.
We prefer experience in forklift, loader, thin veneer saw, rock splitter operation, and general stone knowledge, but are more than willing to train the right people who share our goals and vision. Petra Stone Company is a family-owned and operated business with 50 years of combined knowledge and a drive to carry on for generations to come.
Our goal is to maintain a quality, consistent product for our customers while valuing our employees and maintaining a culture of success for everyone.
A production bonus is provided at the end of each quarter for eligible employees who meet established performance criteria.
