Position Overview

NuWest is seeking a dependable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant for a 13-week travel contract in rural Circle, Montana. This night shift role offers a unique schedule of 6 days on and 8 days off, providing extended time off between rotations. Housing is provided, making this an excellent opportunity for CNAs looking to gain rural healthcare experience while enjoying the flexibility of travel nursing.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor and record vital signs, promptly reporting any changes in patient condition to licensed nursing staff.
• Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and repositioning to promote comfort and prevent pressure injuries.
• Support patients' nutritional needs by assisting with meal setup and feeding as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment in accordance with infection control standards.
• Provide compassionate emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
• Accurately document patient care activities and observations in the medical record.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to deliver person-centered care tailored to each patient's needs.

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered CNA certification valid in Montana.
• Must be fully committed to the complete 13-week assignment duration.
• Background check and drug screening required prior to assignment start.
