Overview

WILDLIFE BIOLOGIST – IDFWRC WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM (DFWRCDivision of Fish, Wildlife, Recreation and Conservation)

NATURAL RESOURCES DEPARTMENT POLSON, MT

• Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Biology, Wildlife Management, or closely related field.
• Year of professional work experience in wildlife management, ecology, habitat restoration and/or research.
• Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised in field situations.
• Ability to operate motor vehicles, including boats, nets, traps, 4x4 vehicles, all-terrain vehicles and communications equipment.
• Physical labor ability such as planting, handling captive animals, and lifting.
• Must complete the course entitled, The Foundations of Wildlife Chemical Capture.
• Valid driver's license.

• Copy of relevant academic transcripts and/or certifications.
• Copy of valid driver's license.
• If applicable, proof of enrollment in a Federally recognized Tribe.
• If claiming Veterans preference, a copy of DD214.

• Salary range $26.74 to $30.73 per hour (Including Benefits: Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement, Long-term Disability, and PTO & Paid Holidays).
• This position is not a testing designated position (TDP) within the definition of the CSKT Drug Testing policy.
• If not already employed by CSKT, must pass a pre-hire drug test and serve a mandatory six (6) month probationary period.
