QA​/QC Manager

Semi Link Materials is a global, high-growth manufacturer and distributor of high-purity chemicals serving the semiconductor industry. The QA/QC Manager will play a critical leadership role in establishing and maintaining a robust Quality Management system that ensures compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and internal processes. This role is responsible for driving continuous improvement across all quality functions, maintaining ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certifications, and preparing the organization for successful customer audits and qualifications with top-tier semiconductor fabs.

The QA/QC Manager will develop and oversee quality policies, procedures, training, document control, and internal audits, while also managing the QC team responsible for analytical testing of high-purity liquids and gases. This individual will be a key point of contact for customers and suppliers, representing Semi Link’s commitment to quality and aligning it with the exacting quality expectations of the semiconductor industry.

Prepare for and represent Semi Link Materials during Tier 1 and Tier 2 customer quality audits.

Lead the QA/QC team, improving the analytical and manufacturing processes in the facility to ensure consistent quality with our clients.

Create and implement a quality management system ensuring the quality of 10 to12 different high purity chemicals that will be shipped from the facility.

Lead the company through ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification processes.

Use the QMS to maintain ISO 9001:2015 certification.

Create an inspection system for Critical to Quality incoming materials to ensure the quality of product received into the facility.

Create and oversee the system to issue Certificates of Analyses for product shipments to customers.

Meet with customers and answer questions regarding inquiries, quality complaints and develop road maps for improvements as the semiconductor industry changes.

Develop detailed presentation packages to demonstrate the techniques and capabilities of the laboratory and QMS to demonstrate customers are receiving best in class products and quality certification.

Lead the QC team to operate the laboratory including analytical chemists and technicians.

Direct the qualification of a new analytical laboratory which includes GC, NMR, TOC, and ICPMS instruments in clean rooms.

Implement state-of-the-art analytical techniques (methods, procedures, calibrations, measurement systems analysis, gage R&R) to ensure products meet all specifications for semiconductor customers.

Maintain the LIMS and instrument software packages as required to interface with customers per their requirements.

Direct and assist in laboratory personnel training.

All other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or equivalent science degree
• 5+ years of experience in analytical chemistry with experience in operating GC-MS, GC-TCD, TOC, NMR, and/or ICPMS
• Experience in quality management systems and ISO 9001 requirements
• Experience in semiconductor, solar, high purity chemical or similar industries
• Ability to travel overseas
• Ability to wear respirator is required
