Service Diesel Technician

Border Plains Equipment, an employee-owned, certified Case IH dealer in Glasgow, MT, is looking for a top notch individual to perform quality maintenance and repairs on all types of agricultural equipment. A great candidate is one who likes to problem-solve, is a continuous learner and has a dedicated work ethic.

Service Technician Team Contribution:

· Responsible for maintenance, repair, and reconditioning of farm equipment

· Comply with all safety regulations and rules

· Quality and customer service oriented

· Promoting team Values through effective interaction with team members

Qualifications:

· 3+ years experience as a technician in maintenance and repair of agricultural equipment

· Knowledge and experience in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems

· Good people, communication, time management and organizational skills

Requirements for Service Technicians:

· Troubleshoot, analyze and perform mechanical repairs on agricultural equipment

· Track details and prepare reports/forms in conjunction with assigned work orders

· Follow all necessary schedules/requirements for completion of tasks

· Use of electronic diagnostic tools, electronic parts catalogs, and other sources of information

Physical Requirements:

· Physical mobility including being able to lift up to 60 pounds unaided

· Ability to stand for long periods of time

· Be able to manage different environmental smells
