Job Responsibilities

• Work with vulnerable populations in the child welfare field, mental health field, or other Social Service Grant Programs.
• Attend training as deemed necessary by the Program Manager.
• Comply with the CSKT drug‑testing policy; subject to random drug or alcohol testing.
• Undergo a background investigation and pre‑hire drug screen; serve a mandatory six‑month probationary period.

• At least 2 years of work experience with vulnerable populations in child welfare or mental health, or an Associate’s Degree in Social Work or a related field.
• No conviction of domestic violence, child abuse, elder abuse, sexual offense, or violence; no CPS substantiation of child abuse or neglect.
• Valid Montana driver’s license.
• Mandatory reporter of child abuse/neglect.
• Must submit a Tribal employment application, relevant academic transcripts, training certificates, a current driver’s license, and if applicable, tribal enrollment documentation. Veterans must submit a DD‑214.
• Must be willing to attend required training.

$18.60 to $21.38 per hour, including benefits.

This position is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) within the definition of the CSKT drug testing policy. A favorable determination resulting from a completed Background Investigation is required before placement. The successful applicant, if not currently employed by the Tribes, or transferring from a non‑safety sensitive position to a safety‑sensitive position, must complete & pass a pre‑hire drug screen and serve a mandatory six (6) month probationary period.
