- Translate the approved weekly plan into clear shift expectations by conducting a pre-shift review of assignments, decision boundaries, hazards, controls, sequence, resource requirements, and expected results; invite questions, correct misunderstandings, and confirm employee understanding before work begins.
- Provide real-time coaching, recognition, and corrective feedback, documenting significant discussions in accordance with documentation best practices and applicable policies.
- Recommend hiring, development, recognition, performance, or succession actions to the General Foreman.

- Direct the coordinated movement of ore, waste, personnel, supplies, and equipment by rubber-tire and rail by sequencing loading, transfer, switching, tramming, dumping, and return movements to maintain safe traffic flow and support mine priorities.
- Coordinate continuously with Dispatch and other operational supervisors regarding priority changes, equipment availability, congestion, blasting windows, ventilation restrictions, and shared access.
- Monitor actual haulage performance against the shift plan using trips, tons, cycle time, delays, queue time,…
