Medical/Surgical ICU - Assignment Length: 52 weeks (1 year travel nurse contract)
- Start Date:
September 29, 2025 - End Date:
September 29, 2026 - Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1680 - $1800
- Employment Type:
Travel Registered Nurse
- Active and valid California RN License (required for California nursing jobs)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a staff RN in an acute care hospital, with ICU/critical care experience
- Critical Care RN (CCRN) certification preferred
- COVID-19 vaccination/boosters preferred
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- Provide safe, high-quality patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Deliver direct patient care within ICU scope of practice
- Educate and support patients and families, and supervise other nursing personnel
- Uphold standards of care, ensuring patient privacy and confidentiality
- Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient condition, including hemodynamic monitoring and diagnostic studies
- Respond promptly to changes in patient status and treatment response
