Conduct facility maintenance at all facilities, maintain compliance standards, be proactive in addressing identified issues and problem solving. Responsible for the cultivation and care of the landscaping and grounds surrounding the buildings. Plants flowers, mows, pulls weeds, repairs structures, and maintains outside of building. Oversee company-wide vehicle maintenance, conduct safety inspections, and maintain detailed records to keep the fleet in peak condition.

Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

• Perform building maintenance & upkeep
• Respond to urgent repairs and emergency situations
• Prioritize and categorize work items and issues as they arise
• Operate medium to large equipment.
• Mowing and edging grounds
• Irrigation repairs
• Spraying herbicides and pesticides
• Weed abatement ? General painting (touch up etc)
• Maintaining lightning (changing bulbs)
• Light construction work.
• Perform groundskeeping and building maintenance duties.
• Mow lawn either by hand or using a riding lawnmower.
• Cut lawn using hand, power or riding mower and trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls.
• Landscape by planting flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes.
• Apply pesticide to rid grounds of pests such as mosquitos, wasps, ticks, and others.
• Apply fertilizer to ground to enhance growth.
• Sweep walkways to keep people from falling.
• Perform routine maintenance duties such as applying plaster, fixing fountains, and other duties.
• Sweep walkway of debris.
• Cut down tree limbs that are posing a danger.
• Trim shrubs and pull weeds.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in groundskeeping.
• Install lawn furniture.
• Rake, mulch, and prune the grounds as needed.
• Install rock, cement, lighting, water, and furniture.
• Water plants and grass as needed and apply fertilizer.
• Perform routine maintenance on fleet of vehicles
• Conduct safety inspections on vehicle fleet.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance and safety inspections on vehicle fleet
• May also be required to transport clients as needed
• Perform other job functions as directed

• Basic ability to read and interpret documents at a basic level, such as reports, spreadsheets, and instruction and procedure manuals.
• Basic ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Intermediate computer skills preferred
• Excellent customer services skills including by person, e-mail or telephone
• Proficient ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and create resolution
• Excellent ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Excellent ability to plan and manage time
• Proficient in crisis intervention and management, knowledge of behavior management techniques and verbal de-escalation processes
• Must be able to interact with participants in a responsible and empathetic manner and to establish and maintain appropriate boundaries
• Must successfully pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment physical exam and health screen
• Must possess and maintain a valid California driver’s license and be eligible for auto insurance coverage

• Valid California Driver’s License (Mandatory)
• Forklift operator’s certificate (preferred)
• Tractor operator’s certificate (preferred)
• Lawncare Technician certificate (preferred)
