Job Overview

• Conduct in‑person and virtual tax interviews using video, phone, chat, and email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Drive business growth by increasing client retention and offering additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support.
• Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration.
• Continue to grow tax expertise.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (preferred).
• Previous customer service or retail experience (preferred).
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, supportive environment (required).
• Ability to work a minimum of 25‑35 hours weekly during tax season and up to 40 hours during peak weeks (required).

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Comfort working with virtual tools – video, phone, and chat.
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone, and in writing.
• Must meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent or higher (required).
