- Educational Background:
Must comply with state regulations; a High School Diploma/GED is required, ECE coursework preferred. - Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Experience:
Significant experience in childcare with a track record in leadership roles; a deep passion for early childhood education is essential. - Must meet all state and federal requirements including immunizations and health training.
- Ability to notice and address potential risks in a childcare environment.
- Ensure children's daily needs are met, including diapering, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Encourage strong communication and conflict-resolution skills among children.
- Exhibit patience, professionalism, and composure at all times.
- Capability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 40 pounds safely.
- Movement skills to reach, stretch, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crawl.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various temperatures, ranging from 20°F (with wind chill) to 95°F.
- Maintain alertness and energy levels to fulfill job responsibilities.
