Responsibilities:- Lead, coordinate, and actively support service technicians performing installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial and laboratory furnace systems.
- Perform field service work directly, including on-site diagnostics, repairs, and system commissioning.
- Plan and manage service schedules, field assignments, and customer site visits to ensure timely response and completion of work orders.
- Provide advanced technical support for complex electrical and mechanical issues, both remotely and on customer sites.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve preventive maintenance programs and standardized service procedures.
- Train, coach, and mentor service personnel on equipment operation, diagnostics, safety practices, and professional customer interaction.
- Partner with engineering, production, and quality teams to communicate field feedback and recommend product, process, or design improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all company, safety, and environmental policies and regulations.
- Maintain strong customer relationships through clear communication, technical guidance, and post-service follow-up.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
- 5+ years of experience servicing industrial equipment or machinery; prior supervisory or lead experience preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of furnace controls, thermocouples, PID controllers, PLCs, and gas and electric heating systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, customer‑driven environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites domestically and internationally as required.
- Experience using Net Suite or similar ERP systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
