• Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center is an 820,000‑square‑foot facility with 365 beds, 1,200+ employees, and a 27‑bed Emergency Room/Fast Track Unit.

• Perform routine and special laboratory procedures, quality control, preventative maintenance, minor equipment repairs, inventory control, and statistical compilation.
• Participate in quality assurance, performance improvement, laboratory education, new employee training, and proficiency testing when assigned.

• Baccalaureate Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a chemical, physical, or biological science.
• ASCP or equivalent certification (e.g., M‑ASCP, H‑ASCP, C‑ASCP).
• Certification must be maintained without lapse during employment; if it lapses, position downgrades to non‑certified MLS until reinstated.
• Previous clinical laboratory experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician, Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Scientist, or Medical Laboratory Scientist.
• Current knowledge of clinical laboratory techniques and principles.

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include differentials and call pay based on role.
