Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a NICU RN with at least 1.5 years of experience and a current NJ or compact RN license for a Level II NICU night shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

• Night shift schedule with options for 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts

• Weekend coverage required every other weekend

• Block scheduling available if needed

• Documentation is completed using Epic;
Epic experience preferred

• Blue scrubs are provided

• First-time travelers are accepted for this position

• No travel pairs or groups are permitted

• A maximum of 3 days of requested time off (RTO) will be auto approved; no RTO permitted during the first week of orientation
Requirements

• Active NJ or compact RN license required at time of consideration

• Minimum of 1.5 years recent NICU RN experience required

• Current BLS and NRP certifications required

• Epic charting experience preferred

• Locals within a 50-mile radius are not eligible

• Former permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
