Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center is an 820,000‑square‑foot facility that offers the latest medical programs, cutting‑edge technology, and patient‑focused care that includes 365 beds, 1,200+ employees and a 27‑bed Emergency Room/Fast Track Unit.

Daily responsibilities include delivering patient care, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams.

The Registered Nurse Medical/Surgical will be responsible for providing nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards and assuring awareness of ethical standards of practice as defined by the ANA code of ethics.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an NLN‑accredited School of Nursing.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical medical/surgical experience in an acute care setting.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• A medical/surgical nursing certification.

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
