Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center is an 820,000‑square‑foot facility that offers the latest medical programs, cutting‑edge technology, and patient‑focused care that includes 365 beds, 1,200+ employees and a 27‑bed Emergency Room/Fast Track Unit.
ResponsibilitiesThe RN (Registered Nurse) is responsible for performing initial patient assessments and partnering with physicians to devise, implement, and evaluate plan of care, while administering medications, IV, monitoring vital signs, and providing patients with support and education on diagnosis treatment options and disease process.
QualificationsJob Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- 1+ years’ experience as a staff RN in an acute care hospital setting.
- Valid New Jersey RN license.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification.
Preferred
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Emergency Room setting experience.
Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
