Registered Nurse - NICU Level III, IV

Schedule

This is a night shift position, working 4x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, with weekend coverage required every other weekend.

Job Description

The NICU RN will provide high-quality care to critically ill neonates in a Level III and IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The registered nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and support families during difficult times.

Responsibilities
  • Perform assessments and develop nursing care plans for neonates.
  • Administer medications and manage intravenous therapies.
  • Provide respiratory support and ventilator management.
  • Conduct neonatal dosage calculations and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Utilize isolation precautions to protect vulnerable patients from infectious disease.
  • Collaborate with physical therapy, respiratory services, and other interdisciplinary teams.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Level III NICU.
  • Current certifications in BLS and NRP are required; certifications marked with
    * are preferred.
  • Experience with IV therapy and central line management is preferred.
