American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a combined Adult/Pediatric Emergency Department requiring 3-5 years of ER experience and ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

• Work in a general Emergency Department treating combined adult and pediatric patients
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Weekend shifts required
• Performs cardiac monitoring and emergency response including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias

• Active NJ or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• 3-5 years of ER nursing experience required
• Skilled in arterial line management, central line care, blood product administration, phlebotomy, and starting/maintaining IVs
• Experience with continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, and procedural sedation administration/monitoring required
• Epic charting experience preferred

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Former staff must wait at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
• Travel pairs or groups are not accepted
