Ronald DeMyers, an independent State Farm agent, is seeking a motivated Account Representative to help grow our agency and support our customers. This position combines insurance sales, customer service, and relationship building. You'll connect with prospective customers, follow up with existing customers, and help people understand insurance options that fit their needs.

If you communicate clearly, enjoy working toward goals, and are ready to contribute to a team. An active Property & Casualty insurance license is required by the date of hire.

• Contact prospective customers, respond to inquiries, and follow up on sales opportunities.
• Schedule appointments and ask questions to understand customers’ insurance needs.
• Explain appropriate coverage options and prepare quotes within your licensing and training.
• Help existing customers review their coverage as their needs change.
• Assist with policy questions, billing inquiries, and routine account updates.
• Maintain accurate customer records and complete follow-up tasks.
• Work with the agent to meet sales, service, and customer retention goals.
• Protect customer information and follow agency procedures.

• Active Property & Casualty insurance license required by the date of hire.
• Entry-level candidates welcome; previous sales, customer service, retail, or insurance experience is helpful.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Comfortable making outbound calls and following up consistently.
• Organized, dependable, and attentive to details.
• Motivated by goals and willing to learn from feedback.
• Able to work effectively with customers and other team members.
• Comfortable using computers and learning agency software.
• Able to work in person at our Montclair, NJ office and complete required training.
