About the Role

Tru Blue of Morristown and Montclair is looking for a part-time Estimator who can confidently represent our brand from the very first handshake. This role combines sales, estimating, and light project management, making it ideal for someone who knows home repairs, connects easily with clients, and can keep jobs running smoothly behind the scenes.

You’ll be the first face many of our clients meet, so we’re looking for someone professional, personable, and knowledgeable — someone who can earn trust quickly and turn estimates into approved, completed work.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for on-site assessments
• Build rapport and represent Tru Blue with professionalism and empathy
• Explain scope, pricing, and options to homeowners
• Follow up to convert estimates into scheduled jobs

• Assist with technician and materials logistics
• Ensure job scope is clearly communicated to the field team
• Track job status and support customer satisfaction

• 3+ years of experience in estimating, contracting, or home repair services
• Local to Northern NJ (Essex, Morris, or nearby counties)
• Own vehicle and valid driver’s license
• Comfortable with digital estimating tools and mobile apps
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills
• Must be able to pass a background check

• Hourly pay based on experience
• Commission on completed and collected jobs
• Opportunity to grow into a larger operational or sales leadership role

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Standard tools of the trade
• U.S. citizenship or legal work authorization
• Must pass a background check
