School-Based Registered Dietitian – Head Start Program; Spanish Bilingual

• Manage food allergies, intolerances, and special dietary needs by performing thorough nutrition assessments and creating individualized meal accommodation plans for Head Start students.
• Review Head Start/Early Head Start health files for regulatory compliance and conduct classroom meal service observations to ensure nutritional standards are met.
• Design and deliver nutrition counseling and specialized trainings for program parents and staff to promote healthy eating habits and program-wide wellness.
• Partner with food services and district staff to coordinate meal planning, ensuring all menus meet the nutritional requirements of the program.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Dietitian Certification by the Commission of Dietetic Registration
• 1+ years of clinical experience as a Registered Dietitian
• Prior experience with pediatric or school-based populations (Preferred)
• Bilingual skills in Spanish to effectively counsel and train a diverse community of parents and staff (Highly Preferred)
