Matrix Bottling Group | Human Resources Manager

Full-time | On-site, 5 days/week

Viva Hire is proudly partnering with Matrix Bottling Group in their search for a hands-on, bilingual HR Manager to lead human resources at their high-volume manufacturing site in Montebello. This is aposition with full ownership of plant-level HR in a fast-paced, 24/7 operation.

You’ll work closely with the Plant Manager and report directly to HR leadership, supported by a full-time Generalist. The ideal candidate thrives in highly manual, non-union environments and is energized by being present and proactive on the floor
.

• Serve as the site lead for all HR functions
  , partnering with plant leadership
• Own compliance, employee relations, safety, training
  , and total rewards
• Be a visible presence on the production floor, building trust with a primarily Spanish-speaking workforce
• Conduct investigations, issue write-ups, lead coaching conversations
• Oversee onboarding, attendance, payroll/timekeeping, and benefit enrollments (Paychex system)
• Collaborate with the Generalist to ensure accurate record keeping and day-to-day support
• Manage workers comp processes, modified duty programs, and safety trainings

• Bilingual:
  Fluent in English and Spanish (written & verbal)
• 5+ years in HR leadership; 3+ years in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Strong knowledge of California labor laws (meal breaks, wage & hour compliance)
• Able to coach, train, and communicate clearly across all levels
• Hands-on style, you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves
• Experience in non-union,
  manual operations environments preferred
• PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent certifications are a plus
• On-site position in Montebello (no hybrid or remote)
• Facility has 200+ employees
  , operates 24/7
• Occasional weekend/on-call support may be needed
