We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Diesel Service Technician to join our dynamic team.



Job Summary

As a Diesel Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related systems. You will work on a variety of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment, ensuring they operate at peak performance and comply with safety and environmental regulations. This position requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.



Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engine problems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair on diesel engines, transmissions, fuel systems, and electrical systems.
• Inspect and test diesel vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
• Replace or repair faulty components, including fuel injectors, filters, turbochargers, and other related parts.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records and complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding service recommendations and repairs.
• Keep tools and work areas clean and organized, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in diesel engine maintenance and repair.
• Collaborate with other technicians and staff to resolve complex mechanical issues and improve service efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or certification in diesel mechanics preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of Ford experience as a diesel service technician or related field.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
• Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift heavy objects as needed.
