Become a crucial part of the Breakfast Club of Canada as an Accounting Technician, managing financial activities that support school breakfast programs. Focus on accounts payable and maintain high accuracy standards.

You will play an essential role in financial operations while reporting directly to the Chief Accountant. Responsibilities include overseeing the accounts payable cycle, executing reconciliations, and preparing journal entries to ensure the organization's financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounts payable process and cycle

• Validate transaction accuracy and compliance

• Coordinate and oversee credit card management for employees

• Execute bank reconciliations and general ledger analyses

• Engage in audits and process improvements

Requirements:

• DEC in accounting required

• Minimum 5 years of full accounting cycle experience

• Proficient in both French and English

• Strong Excel skills, knowledge of Business Central is a plus

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
