Hello, My name is Nathan, and I am a Recruitment and Business Development Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment agency specialising in finance roles.
I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent roles on Montreal’s South Shore. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates within your industry. We cover roles in accounting, finance and payroll. I am looking for an Accounting Technician for my client, a company in the manufacturing sector. This is a permanent role based in Boucherville.
YOUR MISSIONS
- Reports to the Finance Department
- Manufacturing environment
- Participation in daily accounting operations and monthly closings
- Preparation of financial statements and financial reports
- Accounting entries and adjusting entries
- Bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations
- Analysis of variances and monitoring of balance sheet and income statement accounts- GST/QST returns and government remittances
- Tracking of fixed assets and depreciation
- Assistance with monitoring manufacturing costs and cost of goods sold
- Inventory reconciliation and analysis
- Participation in physical inventory counts
- Preparation of external audit files and supporting documentation
- Participation in improving internal controls and accounting processes
- Collaboration with operational teams: purchasing, production, procurement, and shipping
- Participation in optimizing ERP tools and systems YOUR PROFILE- DEC/AEC in accounting, business administration, or equivalent education
- Experience in an accounting firm and/or manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with an ERP system
- Very strong proficiency in Excel
- Fluent in French
- Functional to advanced English, approximately 7/10
- Attention to detail, independence, and strong organizational skills
- Strong financial analysis skills
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement PROCESS:
Initial interview with Nathan Lefevre, Recruitment Consultant, followed by an interview with the Human Resources Manager.
